Cook Children's Health Care System
Location: Medical Center - Fort Worth Department: Food & Nutrition Services Shift: Second Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary The Room Service Associate plays a vital role in the patient experience by ensuring accurate and timely meal service. This position requires a blend of excellent customer service skills and strict adherence to healthcare protocols. The associate will be responsible for taking patient meal orders over the phone, verifying that selections align with a patient's dietary restrictions, and accurately inputting orders into a system. The essential functions include meal ordering and order management, meal delivery and patient interaction, issue resolution and communication, cleanliness and sanitation, administrative task and support. Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Must have current City of Fort Worth Food Handler's Card at time of employment and maintain throughout employment About Us Cook Children's Medical Center is the cornerstone of Cook Children's, and offers advanced technologies, research and treatments, surgery, rehabilitation and ancillary services all designed to meet children's needs.
