What you will do The Inside Sales Associate focuses on selling to customers over the phone. The Inside Sales Associate resolves customer account needs and fostering long-term satisfaction through dedicated service and coordination. This position is centered on selling and or nurturing existing relationships and supporting the Sales Team. Responsible for managing key accounts with the support of the Branch Manager. Responsible for handling complex inventory order management for those key accounts. Ensure alignment on customer account needs by resolving inquiries promptly and thoughtfully. Collaborate with internal teams to maintain excellent records and account health. Provide meaningful assistance to ensure clients feel supported and heard. Foster a sense of partnership across departments to resolve complex inquiries efficiently. Maintain a collaborative and team-oriented approach to daily office operations. Provide backup support for the branch counter by helping with the walk-in traffic, answering customer questions, completing cylinder exchange, help organize the showroom. Airgas Scholarship Program for dependent children. Required Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent. Prior customer service and/or inside sales related experience required. Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing; listens effectively and clarifies information as needed; works well with others in a team environment across the organization knowing who to engage to achieve results. Uses candor and sensitivity in their dealings with others. Exhibits customer focused behavior such as building positive relationships and strives to understand customer’s needs, both internal and external. Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills to include the ability to multi-task and effectively manage projects in a diverse organization. Preferred Qualifications Additional post high school education and/or training preferred. SAP experience preferred. Industrial Gas and/or Welding experience preferred.
