Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler responsible for the basic assembly of industrial equipment. This role involves mechanical assembly using power and hand tools, and requires the ability to use computers for reading work instructions. The position also includes labeling and packaging duties. You will work collaboratively on a line with 4 to 10 colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical assembly.
• Utilize power and hand tools for assembly tasks.
• Read and follow work instructions using a computer.
• Assist with labeling and packaging as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of 4 to 10 people on the assembly line.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting, with a preference for mechanical assembly experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with power and hand tools, whether professionally or through personal projects such as home renovations or car repairs.
• Comfortable with standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Proficient computer skills for reading work instructions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in an assembly line environment.
• Understanding of electrical components is a plus.

Despite being part of a larger company with over 100 employees, the department maintains a close-knit feel, working alongside approximately 10 other team members

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rogers, MN.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
