Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel Echo Technologist with 1+ year of experience for a Cardiovascular Ultrasound position at a 300-bed acute care hospital in Beckley, WV.

Details

• Located on the 1st floor Cardiovascular Ultrasound unit of a 300-bed acute care hospital
• Serves a patient population of all ages, including pediatric patients
• Day shift, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call requirements include 10 days per month covering evenings and weekends
• Every other weekend on-call, with 8–12 hour weekend call shifts
• Equipment includes Canon Ultrasound and Philips systems
• EMR/imaging systems include Meditech, Fuji PACS, and Synapse
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Echo Tech experience
• RDCS or RCS certification required
• AHA BLS required
• Must be able to perform pediatric echos, TEE, and carotid studies
• Must be able to work independently
• License required if applicable — certification/licensure is required to work as an Echo Tech in WV
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• All required certifications must be obtained prior to start date
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Royal blue or red scrubs required; t-shirts and hoodies are not acceptable
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• First-time travelers will be considered provided all requirements are met
