Lead Toddler Teacher

*Job Overview*:

We are looking for a caring, energetic, and dedicated toddler teacher to join our team. As a Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for guiding and nurturing toddlers through their early developmental milestones in a warm and supportive environment. Your role will focus on promoting social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth while fostering a love for learning through play, exploration, and structured activities.

*Key Responsibilities*:

* *Create a Positive Learning Environment*: Design and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom where toddlers can explore, learn, and grow.
* *Plan Developmentally Appropriate Activities*: Develop and implement activities that are engaging, educational, and fun, focusing on developing language, motor skills, socialization, and early problem-solving.
* *Encourage Social and Emotional Development*: Support toddlers in developing positive social behaviors, helping them learn to share, communicate, and manage emotions.
* *Observe and Track Development*: Regularly observe and document each child’s progress, noting developmental milestones and any challenges, and share this information with parents.
* *Ensure Safety and Well-Being*: Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment, ensuring that all safety protocols and hygiene standards are followed at all times.
* *Foster Positive Relationships*: Build strong, trusting relationships with toddlers and their families, offering open communication about the child’s day, development, and any concerns.
* *Collaborate with Team*: Work closely with other teachers, staff, and the leadership team to create a cohesive and supportive classroom environment.
* *Parent Communication*: Provide regular updates to parents about their child's progress, behavior, and activities, and work together to address any specific needs or concerns.
* *Professional Development*: Stay updated with best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

*Qualifications*:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree or certification in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
* Previous experience working with toddlers or young children in a childcare or educational setting is highly preferred.
* Strong understanding of early childhood development, including language, social, emotional, and physical growth.
* Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Creative, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
* CPR and First Aid certification
* Ability to maintain a positive, caring, and respectful attitude in a classroom environment.

*Physical Requirements*:

* Ability to lift and carry children (up to 50 pounds) and engage in physical activities such as bending, kneeling, sitting on the floor, and standing for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
