Automotive TechnicianWe're a busy, family-owned auto repair shop looking for a passionate, hardworking automotive technician ready to grow with us. If you love what you do and want to be part of a supportive, tight-knit team, this is the place for you!What You'll Do:Diagnose, repair, and quality-check vehicles based on customer concerns.Work on all major automotive systems—engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, A/C, and more.Test-drive vehicles and use professional diagnostic tools and equipment.Communicate clearly with our Service Advisor about vehicle needs and repair time estimates.Complete repairs efficiently and accurately to state and factory standards.Perform Multi-Point Inspections on every vehicle.Keep your workspace neat, safe, and organized.Keep the team updated on any additional issues or changes in diagnosis.What We're Looking For:ASE Automotive Mechanic Certification(s)Virginia State Inspector license (preferred).Emissions Repair Technician certification (preferred).Clean, valid driver's license.Strong communication skills.Detail-oriented, organized, and motivated to grow.A positive attitude and willingness to learn.What We Offer You:Health, Dental & Vision Insurance.Paid Vacation and Sick Time.Life Insurance.Holiday Pay.No Sundays.Paid Training and ongoing growth opportunities.About Lorton Auto Service Center:At Lorton Auto Service Center we have been providing vehicle maintenance and repairs since 2016.
