Position Overview Worldwide Machinery Now Hiring: Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic Location: Denver, CO Hours: Mon- Fri, 7:00 am -5:30 pm, possible extended hours Pay: $28 - $45 an hour, based on skills and experience Who we are: Worldwide Machinery is a leading supplier of heavy earthmoving and pipeline equipment. Summary: The ideal Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a wide range of earthmoving and pipeline equipment at job sites, yard, and shop. Experience with Caterpillar, Joen Deer, Bell, etc. is preferred. Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair mechanical, emission, electrical and hydraulic issues Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance Use computer diagnostic tools for multiple manufactures Identify, research and order parts as needed Complete service reports, work orders, and required machine documentation Perform other duties as assigned by service or fleet managers Required skills: Valid CDL driver's license Experience servicing and repairing heavy construction equipment Familiarity with Caterpillar, John Deere and OTR equipment is preferred Working knowledge of T4 and T4F emission systems Experience with OEM parts look up and ordering systems Ability to work independently in field and shop environments Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Benefits for full-time employment* Company-paid health insurance for employe Dental, vision, Life, Long-term disability, and FSA 401(k) 10 paid holidays, Paid vacation and sick time Safety incentive programSafety shoe and eyewear program Team engagement E-Verify: Worldwide Machinery participates in the federal government’s E-Verify program, which confirms employment authorization of all newly hired employees and most existing employees through an electronic database maintained by the Social Security Administration and Department of Homeland Security.
