Hall & Evans, LLC, currently has an opportunity for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team in New Mexico.

We are seeking a paralegal with New Mexico litigation experience. Candidates should have excellent MS Office skills, well-developed communication abilities, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

This position can offer a hybrid working schedule (3 days/office and 2 days/home) after successfully completing the training period.

Requirements:

• Civil litigation experience with a defense firm, preferred;
• New Mexico civil litigation experience, preferred;
• Obtain, review, and analyze medical, financial, tax, and employment records, or any other relevant documents and records;
• Prepare medical record summaries;
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence;
• Experience billing time;
• Well-developed writing and research skills;
• Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook;
• Ability to stay focused on numerous details while maintaining a high level of accuracy;
• Ability to anticipate attorneys' needs, identify problems, and find solutions;
• Ability to work with limited supervision, independently or with a team;
• Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with a wide variety of people;
• Ability to exercise a high degree of tact, discretion, and sound judgment;
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a high-volume workload to meet time-critical deadlines;
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a mature, professional, and personable presentation and demeanor;
• High level of integrity and personal accountability;
• Flexibility to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines;
• Excellent attendance and reliability;
• ABA Paralegal Certificate, preferred;
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree, preferred; and
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. when necessary.
