Requirements: Candidates must meet all local and state requirements for Speech and Language Pathologists, including: Possession of a valid license in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California Completion of a Master's degree program in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Preferably hold certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Prior experience working with school-aged children is highly desired. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders in students. Develop individualized treatment plans to address the specific communication needs of each student. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to student support and progress. Provide therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, addressing areas such as articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders. Maintain accurate documentation of student evaluations, progress reports, and treatment plans. Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with advancements and best practices in the field of speech and language pathology.
