Two contract positions are available: one full-time position split between two elementary schools, and one part-time role (3 days per week) working at a middle school. These vital roles support diverse student populations and collaborate closely with dedicated educators and staff.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
- State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong articulation, language, and communication skills
- Ability to structure engaging therapy sessions for varying needs
- Positive, collaborative attitude with excellent organization and recordkeeping skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and set measurable student goals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, adapting to students’ unique needs and collaborating with classroom staff
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and complete necessary documentation in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities
