Restoration 1 of Horry County is looking for an experienced restoration technician with at least one year of hands-on experience in water mitigation, mold remediation, fire damage cleanup, or a related restoration field.

Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, On-call Rotation

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year of restoration/mitigation experience
• Experience with water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and restoration equipment
• Comfortable using moisture meters, dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA air scrubbers, and common demolition tools
• Ability to document jobs accurately with photos, notes, readings, and mobile software
• Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening

Core Job Duties :

• Respond to water, mold, fire, and other property-damage emergencies
• Perform water extraction, demolition, structural drying, equipment setup, monitoring, and removal
• Assist with mold remediation, fire/smoke cleanup, and biohazard-related projects as needed
• Take moisture readings and monitor drying progress
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
• Document work accurately using photos, notes, readings, and job-management software
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management
• Protect customers' homes and belongings while work is being performed
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
• Participate in the company's on-call rotation

Bonus Points :

• IICRC Certifications such as WRT, AMRT, ASD, and/or FSRT
• Experience with trauma/crime scene clean-up
• Knowledge and experience with Encircle and/or Xcelerate job management systems

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
• Ability to travel locally
