Looking for something different from the typical hospital or imaging center schedule?

This is a mobile Radiologic Technologist opportunity where you’ll take your skills on the road and provide X-ray services directly to patients in the facilities where they receive care.

You’ll work across a variety of settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities, correctional facilities, home health, and other healthcare locations. No two days are exactly the same, and you’ll have plenty of independence while still having a team behind you.

The organization supports 7,500+ healthcare facilities nationwide , providing mobile diagnostic services to patients who may not be able to easily travel to a traditional imaging center.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Mobile X-Ray Technologist, you'll travel to assigned facilities and perform diagnostic imaging ordered by physicians.

Your day may include:

• Performing portable X-rays using DR or CR equipment
• Getting high-quality, diagnostic images for Radiologist interpretation
• Transporting and setting up portable X-ray equipment at facilities and patient locations
• Performing EKGs when needed
• Transmitting images and EKGs for interpretation
• Completing required documentation and billing paperwork
• Communicating with dispatch throughout the day
• Working directly with facility staff and patients
• Maintaining your vehicle and imaging equipment

This is a great fit for someone who likes staying busy, enjoys variety, and doesn't want to spend every shift in the same four walls.

What You Need

• ARRT R.T. – Required
• Current South Carolina Radiologic Technologist license
• Compact license accepted
• Limited licenses are not accepted
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to safely operate and transport portable X-ray equipment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a mobile schedule

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on mobile position, so you need to be comfortable moving equipment throughout the day.

Portable X-ray equipment can weigh 50–100 lbs. Ramps and pulleys are available to make transportation easier, but you'll still be regularly pushing and pulling equipment in facilities and patient locations.
