Deck Supervisor

Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and prepare the deck for each shift. Complete daily Deck Supervisor logs on assigned shifts and monitor student attendance. Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress. Coordinate tasks to ensure the cleanliness and organization of the pool facility. Act as a substitute swim instructor when necessary. Participate in required training and in-services. Requirements: Ability to work with children Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Availability to work weekend shifts only (Saturday and Sunday required) Must pass background examinations (included with training) Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred Minimum of two (2) years experience as a swim instructor (preferred) Experience as a youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, and/or teacher preferred Certifications & Licenses: CPR/AED Certification (required) Benefits: Leadership opportunities Flexible hours Great pay Valuable work experience Increased social opportunities Future references and referrals Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat and humidity.
