A manufacturing company is hiring Industrial Painters to prepare and paint fabricated metal products in a hands‑on production environment. This role involves grinding, sanding, cleaning, staging materials, and learning to operate industrial spray equipment. Candidates should be comfortable working in a warm, non‑climate‑controlled facility and be eager to learn industrial painting techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in construction, general labor, roofing, landscaping, warehouse, manufacturing, or handyman work is beneficial.
• Prior experience with industrial painting, sanding, spraying, paint prep, blasting, or coatings is a plus.
• Familiarity with utilizing fixed spray guns, rollers, brushes, and polishing tools.
• Exposure to quality control procedures in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Openness and ability to learn new tasks and cross-train in related functions.
• Loading experience using heavy forklifts and overhead cranes is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is a team-oriented manufacturing facility with a strong focus on collaboration and support among employees. The role operates primarily on 2nd shift, Monday through Thursday and occasionally Fridays from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM, with additional openings on 1st and 2nd shifts as needed. The facility is non-climate-controlled and can be warm, so comfort working in heat is important. You will work around industrial painting equipment, including spray guns, rollers, brushes, polishing tools, and material handling equipment such as heavy forklifts and overhead cranes. The dress code includes jeans and steel-toed boots, along with required personal protective equipment to ensure safety on the production floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Daytona Beach, FL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
