Responsibilities As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will implement OT programs and activities, follow recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You will be a healer and helper, addressing whole patients, restoring independence, adapting to patient needs, collaborating with peers, and ensuring patients and families receive high quality, compassionate care. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
