Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant - Primary Care / Urgent Care

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm, 1-hour lunch break

Compensation: $70 to $85+ per hour, negotiable dependent upon experience. Malpractice insurance, health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, annual CME allowance, license/DEA fees paid, 401k. Full details negotiable.

Position Description

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (APP) provides routine, low-acuity primary care and urgent care services, including but not limited to:

• Primary care exams
• Chronic condition management
• Sick visits
• Minor injury care
• Laceration repair
• Incision and drainage
• Ingrown toenail removal
• Pap smears
• Other routine outpatient procedures
• Annual physicals
• Sports physicals
• Employment physicals
• Vaccinations

The APP sees an average of 15 to 20 patients per day and is supported by a medical assistant who helps with all visits, including charting and documentation. The clinic uses CarbyOS, an AI-powered EMR designed to reduce administrative burden. Approximately 95% of patients are Spanish-speaking and the new APP must be fluent in Spanish.

Requirements

California NP or PA license, ability to see patients of all ages, 2+ years experience in primary care, urgent care, or a related field, must speak fluent Spanish.
