Senior Life Safety Systems (LSS) Drafter / BIM Designer : 199105

You’ll create coordinated 3D model spaces and assist designers with Life Safety Systems layouts while working with architects, engineers, and design leads. The work includes fire alarm detection, HPM leak detection, toxic gas management, and security and intrusion detection systems. Key Responsibilities Deliver complex drafting and modeling packages in coordination with multidisciplinary engineers and design leads. Use AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create 3D model spaces in coordination with architects and engineers. Assist designers with layouts for Fire Alarm Detection Systems, HPM leak detection, Toxic Gas Management Systems, and Security and Intrusion Detection Systems. Qualifications 3-5 years of systems design experience. Strong Revit skills with 3-5 years of recent use. Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 70, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code. Knowledge of Fire/Life Safety systems and manufacturers’ equipment. Autodesk ACP certification or another drafting-technology certification. Work Authorization Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.
