Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2+ years License: Active nursing license (Iowa or compact) Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Epic experience - Mandatory reporter - Prior travel experience in the operating room - Robotics experience Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The position requires working with a variety of surgery types, including orthopedic, general, robotic, spine, ENT, and gynecological procedures. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. Candidates are expected to provide documentation proving experience and qualifications. A supervisory reference form completed within the last two years is required. Candidates must possess an active BLS certification, with AHA preferred, as well as an active ACLS certification, also preferably from AHA. The position entails taking on-call shifts, with an average of 3-4 weekends in a 12-week period. All candidates must be located at least 50 miles from the facility.
