Fabrication Quality Assurance Technician – Iowa Premium Location: Tama, IA Requisition ID: 2026-4853 Position Type: Regular Full-Time Category: Administration/Support Overview We are looking for qualified professionals to join our Quality Assurance Team as a Fabrication Quality Assurance Technician. This is a safe, stable position that offers competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities Monitor product quality at the end of production lines, inspecting various pieces of meat for adherence to specifications. Know the product specifications for the line they are working on and fill out an audit report form. Follow and help enforce Plant Good Manufacturing Procedures and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures. Audit metal detectors and test trim for E. coli via N60 sampling. Other duties as assigned. Work in a safety-sensitive, on-site environment. Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of HACCP Process (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) Experience with email communications Microsoft Office (Excel) skills Beef products knowledge preferred Ability to withstand extreme hot/cold environments Must be able to read, write and speak Spanish Hourly, management support position – willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays Must be at least 18 years of age or older Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship at this time Company Overview Iowa Premium, a National Beef Company, is dedicated to being the premier supplier of premium family farm‑raised corn‑fed Black Angus beef.
