Job Title: Medical Assistant (Certified) Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and clinical personnel with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, and other patient care procedures.
- Record and process patient care documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information.
- Maintain established quality control and infection prevention standards.
- Prepare, organize, stock, and clean exam and treatment rooms.
- Coordinate patient care according to physician instructions, company policies, and clinical protocols.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care as directed.
- Ensure medical equipment and supplies are available and properly maintained.
- Support patient flow and provide exceptional customer service throughout the visit.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification.
- Current CPR and/or BLS Certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience or related experience in a medical setting.
- Experience with injections, EKGs, and phlebotomy.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Experience with ICD-10 and CPT coding.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a clinical environment.
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs
- Certifications Required: Medical Assistant Certification and CPR/BLS Certification.
