DevOps Engineer

Role Summary

The DevOps Engineer will establish and maintain secure, repeatable deployment, configuration, monitoring, release, and environment-management processes for the PACT solution within the State's Azure environment. Key Responsibilities

• Establish CI/CD and controlled deployment processes.
• Maintain environment configurations and release-management procedures.
• Support State Azure environment deployment and configuration.
• Implement infrastructure/configuration automation where approved.
• Manage code repositories, branching, builds, release packages, and deployment history.
• Coordinate security controls and DevSecOps practices with the Project Security Lead.
• Support configuration/change management and segregation between environments.
• Support vulnerability remediation and patch deployment.
• Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational telemetry.
• Support performance/scalability implementation.
• Support backup, recovery, disaster-recovery, RTO, and RPO requirements.
• Support SSO/IAM deployment configuration.
• Maintain deployment and production-support runbooks.
• Support cutover, go-live, rollback, stabilization, and M&O transition.

Preferred Recruiting Profile

• 6+ years of DevOps/cloud engineering experience.
• Strong Microsoft Azure experience.
• CI/CD, infrastructure automation, logging/monitoring, release management, and environment management experience.
• Azure DevOps experience preferred.
• DevSecOps and vulnerability-remediation experience.
• Experience supporting highly available, regulated healthcare/public-sector applications preferred.
