Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Day Shifts (0700–1930) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across a combined acuity unit encompassing ICU, PCU, and Med-Surg levels of care within a single unit
• Titrate drips including sedation, vasopressors, and insulin; manage patients with complex diagnoses such as sepsis, respiratory arrest, DKA, COPD, and post-operative complications
• Monitor ICU patients via bedside cardiac monitor; obtain and interpret 12-lead EKGs
• Collaborate with Respiratory Therapy in the management of patients on ventilators, BiPAP, and CPAP
• Float as needed to Med-Surg, Pediatric (adult assignments), and a secondary campus ICU/PCU to maintain competency across patient populations
• Participate in weekend, holiday, and low-census standby rotations as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience; candidates with 1 year ICU and 1 year PCU/Med-Surg from a larger facility may be considered with strong demonstrated skills
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must successfully pass a dysrhythmia exam with a score of 80% or higher within two attempts prior to contract signing
• Ability to titrate drips and manage high-acuity patients independently

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for patients with sepsis, alcohol or drug withdrawal, suicide attempt, and cardiac or hemodynamic instability
• Familiarity with remote telemetry monitoring systems and bedside cardiac monitoring
• Prior experience floating across multiple unit types including PCU, Med-Surg, and Pediatric units
