About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified IMC RN in Wichita, Kansas, 67221!

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit serving a high-acuity patient population
• Monitor and assess patients requiring an intermediate level of care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Respond to and manage changes in patient condition, including those presenting through a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility protocols

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• Prior experience in a PCU, IMC, Stepdown, or similar intermediate care setting
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced trauma environment

• Experience working in or alongside a Level 1 Trauma Center
• ACLS certification
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
