Job Title: Host/Hostess
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure they have a memorable experience from the moment they arrive. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage guest flow efficiently. Join our team and contribute to a vibrant, customer-focused environment where hospitality and service excellence are our top priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a positive first impression
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table utilization
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries regarding reservations and services
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand and waiting area
- Coordinate with the service staff to ensure smooth guest flow and timely seating
- Handle guest concerns or special requests professionally and courteously
- Keep track of wait times and inform guests accordingly
- Support the team in maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation systems is a plus
