The details are below.Job Title: Data AnalystLocation: Charlotte, NC 28277Work Schedule: Hybrid – Onsite 3 Days/WeekContract Length: 12 Months – Potential to Extend to 24 MonthsPosition OverviewSeeking a highly skilled, self-driven, results-oriented Data Analyst to support data enablement and management activities. This role includes gathering and writing data use case requirements, performing data analysis, and developing data relationship designs.The Data Analyst will work independently, manage multiple workstreams, and engage with business partners to define and deliver impactful and reusable data solutions.Required Qualifications4+ years of relevant professional experienceMSSQL: Ability to write, read, and optimize queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysisExperience in data cleansing, validation, and transformation logic using Alteryx and SSMSAbility to define clear data sourcing and transformation logic requirements and database/table/column specificationsExperience with metadata management and data governance practicesProficiency in data profiling and root cause analysis for data quality issuesProven ability to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsComfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex data environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Google Data Cloud stack, including Dataplex and BigQueryFamiliarity with SSIS packages and jobsFamiliarity with Agile processes and Atlassian software, including JiraResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for data use casesDesign and architect scalable data models and data element relationships with a strong emphasis on usability, performance, and data accuracyIdentify and write requirements for data source integrity monitoringSupport database enhancement requests and contribute to logical data design solutionsParticipate in data management documentation, including data lineage, data sharing agreements, and other metadata managementEvaluate upstream system-of-record changes for potential data impact and provide recommendationsTranslate business needs into actionable data requirements and technical specificationsPartner with technology and data governance groups to ensure alignment with team and enterprise data standards Leading Utilities Organization
