About the Role:
The Dog House Grooming in Tulare, CA is looking for a talented and passionate Pet Stylist to join our team! If you love working with animals and have a knack for making pets look and feel their best, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Responsibilities:

• Perform full-service grooming including bathing, drying, brushing, and styling for a variety of dog breeds
• Execute breed-specific haircuts and custom styling based on owner preferences
• Safely handle pets of all sizes and temperaments throughout the grooming process
• Clean and sanitize grooming tools, equipment, and workstations regularly
• Communicate with pet owners regarding coat condition, skin issues, or behavioral concerns
• Perform finishing touches such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing
• Maintain accurate grooming records and appointment schedules

Requirements:

• Prior professional pet grooming or pet styling experience preferred 2 Years minimum
• Knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards and techniques
• Comfortable and confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for animal care and safety
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced grooming environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Grooming certification or formal training is a plus
