FULLTIME

Ideal Candidate for PREP COOK:

• 1 year scratch food preparation experience
• Prior experience regularly preparing meals for large groups
• Dependable
• Flexible -- varying hours and weekends 
• Works well in fast-paced environment
• Basic knife skills
• Familiar with various cooking techniques
• Food safety knowledge
• Customer-focused
• Enjoys seniors
• Team player
• Self-starter and ability to work unsupervised
• Serv-safe-certified a plus

Job Tasks to serve Residents as PREP COOK:

• Prep work
• Cooking and plating menu items
• Ensures meals meets nutritional requirements as well as appetizing in appearance
• Prepares food based on standardized recipes
• Assists with daily kitchen duties and  restocking inventory
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment
• Cleans up at end of shift
