Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician

Overview Seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) provider passionate about evidence‑based care in the greater Houston area. Join a team of experienced clinicians in an academic hybrid model, with opportunities to investigate research studies. Responsibilities Provide fetal ultrasound evaluation and fetal echocardiography Perform invasive fetal diagnostic procedures (CVS, amniocentesis, cordocentesis) Participate in invasive fetal therapy including FIUT consultation and co‑management Manage maternal and fetal medical complications of pregnancy Consult as an outpatient physician with some inpatient consultative and shared call duties Group Structure and Collaboration Group of 6‑8 MFMs with expected expansion over the next 3‑5 years. Works collaboratively with OB hospitalists, private obstetric groups, hospital‑based CNMs, and a full spectrum of ancillary services including perinatal sonographers, nurses, genetic counselors, diabetic educators, pediatric subspecialists, fetal MRI, Level II‑IV NICUs, congenital heart disease program, and Fetal Centers.
