Responsibilities Include (but not limited to) :

• Assist cooks and dietary staff with basic food preparation as directed.

• Prepare beverages, desserts, salads, sandwiches, snacks, and other food items as assigned.

• Portion and plate food according to established standards.

• Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and diet requirements.

• Check food temperatures and maintain proper food-handling procedures.

• Ensure food is properly stored, labeled, dated, and rotated.

• Assist with preparing and setting up meals, snacks, and beverages for residents.

• Set up meal trays according to residents' diet orders, preferences, allergies, and special instructions.

• Deliver and serve meals to residents in dining areas and resident rooms as assigned.

• Ensure residents receive the correct meal and appropriate diet consistency.

• Assist with transporting food carts and meal trays throughout the facility.

• Collect meal trays and return dishes, utensils, and equipment to the appropriate areas.

• Assist with dining room setup and cleanup before and after meals.

• Provide courteous and respectful service to residents during meal times.

Qualifications :

High School diploma
