Come join our mission!As a MA, you will be responsible for providing a friendly, welcoming, and confidential environment for our Veterans who have served our country valiantly. We are seeking healthcare professionals who are driven and committed to ensuring the health and well-being of our nation's Veterans.Office hours are Mon - Fri 8:00am to 4:30pm.No evenings, holidays, on-call, or weekends!Interviews patients, measures vital signs and records information in patient's electronic medical recordObtain medical histories from patients; verify patient informationPrepare, assist, and accurately complete all formsSupport patient care deliveryAssist providers during examinations and treatmentTake vital signs and perform all ancillary tests appropriate to skill level, certifications, and state regulationsPerform ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director (PFT, EKG, injections, audiograms, blood draws, etc.) and as certifiedCollects lab Specimens from patients and submits received results to medical providers.Schedule clinic appointments, patient check-in and/or out of the clinic, and verify all clinical reminders due at the time of each visit.Job Requirements:High School Diploma/GEDGraduate of an accredited Medical Assistant certificate programCurrent MA certificationKnowledge of computer systems to include the MS Office SuiteDemonstrate high-quality customer serviceTwo years of continuous experience in clinical operations or medical office work post externshipBasic Life Support certification from American Heart Association (to be renewed annually)Benefits Summary:401(k)Colleague Referral Bonus ProgramThis job requires access to confidential and sensitive information requiring ongoing discretion and secure information management.If you're looking for an organization that cares for your growth and well-being as much it does its patients, Apply Today!As a Federal Contractor Primary Care Solutions (PCS) prohibits discrimination against qualified individuals based on their status as protected veterans or individuals with disabilities.
