About the Role:

As a vital part of our kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and care. Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety regulations.
• Support food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all kitchen equipment is sanitized and properly stored.
• Collaborate with team members during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high standards of food quality.
• Contribute to catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food with attention to detail and presentation.

Requirements:

• Prior kitchen, food prep, or restaurant experience required
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
