Patient Access Representative

divh2Patient Access Representative/h2pInsight is seeking a meticulous and friendly Patient Access Representative to work in our Multi-Specialty facility. At Insight Hospital and Medical Center Chicago, we believe there is a better way to provide quality healthcare while achieving health equity. Be a part of the Insight Chicago team that provides patient care second to none!/ph3Job Summary/h3pRepresentative thrives in a fast-paced, team oriented environment with professionals in neurology, pain management, chiropractic, physical therapy and many more. This position is cross-trained in all clinical administrative processes, therefore the Patient Access Representative will also answer phones, check in and out patients, perform patient reminder calls, and enter information into the EMR. The Patient Access Representative is required to maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Optimal auditory acuity required./liliManual dexterity involving the handling of equipment and instruments or needles is essential to performing assigned duties./liliPhysical conditions are clean, neat and well lit./liliMay be subjected to unpleasant sights and odors, stressful situations and hazardous or infectious agents where judgement as to precautions needed to be taken is essential. Climate control and ambient temperature variances may be experienced and required by patient care and needs of the surgical team./liliExposure to limited amounts of radiation, hazardous chemicals or substances and infectious disease processes are a possibility./liliHours of duty may be irregular or unexpectedly extended due to the requirements of the daily surgical and clinic schedule./li/ulh3Benefits/h3ulliPaid Sick Time - effective 90 days after employment/liliPaid Vacation Time - effective 90 days after employment/liliHealth, vision dental benefits - eligible at 30 days, following the 1st of the following month/liliShort and long-term disability and basic life insurance - after 30 days of employment:/li/ulpOSHA Exposure Classification: Job Category III. Tasks/activities do not entail predictable or unpredictable exposure to blood or other body fluids to which universal precautions apply.
