Interim Staff/Senior Accountant

Vaco is recruiting for a PART TIME SR Accountant with a non profit background. This is an interim opportunity to help a non profit organization! Key Responsibilities: Review and validate daily journal entries for accuracy and completeness Perform account reconciliations and balance sheet roll-forwards Analyze and reconcile accounting activity dating back to July 2025 Assist in identifying gaps within current accounting and reconciliation processes Help design and implement improved reconciliation and month-end close procedures Support financial reporting and general ledger integrity Collaborate with internal leadership to ensure accurate and timely accounting operations Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and clean-up efforts as needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a nonprofit environment Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes Prior experience with Blackbaud accounting software strongly preferred Strong Excel and analytical skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
