Job Summary: This role involves operating and preparing specialized MRI equipment to perform imaging procedures that meet diagnostic standards. The technologist applies technical judgment to produce high-quality images tailored to patient needs and departmental protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform MRI imaging procedures with precision and adherence to protocols.
  
  
• 
  Position patients and coils optimally to obtain clear and diagnostic images.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients about the imaging process, including instructions and safety precautions.
  
  
• 
  Review safety questionnaires and ensure compliance before beginning scans.
  
  
• 
  Evaluate image quality for technical accuracy and transmit images to PACS promptly.
  
  
• 
  Maintain cleanliness and organization of the MRI suite, including equipment and supplies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Graduate of an JCERT-accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  
  
• 
  Possess a New York State License (L.R.T) and ARRT certification.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physics, and physiology.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of two years of MRI experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit excellent technical skills and attention to detail.
