Tax Senior Manager - Private Equity

Location: Denver, COWork Arrangement: In-office, or Hybrid We’re looking for a seasoned tax professional with experience supporting Private Equity–backed clients. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record in business development, team leadership, and technical expertise across tax planning and compliance.In this role, you’ll serve as a key leader in Colorado—overseeing a high-performing team and guiding the delivery of tax compliance and consulting services for our Private Equity–backed clients and their investors. You’ll also play an important role in continuing to build Eide Bailly’s presence and credibility in the Private Equity space.Typical Day in the LifeA typical day as a Tax Senior Manager may include:Serving as the primary point of contact for clients and Private Equity stakeholders, building strong, trusted relationshipsLeading tax compliance and consulting efforts, including reviewing complex returns and advising on planning strategies and transactions (acquisitions, divestitures, rollups)Providing technical expertise in corporate and flow-through taxation, including areas such as IRC §704(c), §754, §743, §734 adjustments, waterfalls, and preferred returnsManaging tight deadlines, including return completion and K-1 deliveryReviewing and signing tax returnsPartnering with internal teams to ensure all aspects of the tax process are completed efficiently and accuratelyIdentifying tax-saving opportunities and bringing practical solutions to clients and engagement teamsOverseeing client billing and engagement profitabilityCoaching, mentoring, and developing team membersStaying current on tax regulations and participating in ongoing professional development and networkingWho You AreBachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)Active CPA license (required)7+ years of tax experience in public accountingStrong understanding of tax accounting principles and IRS regulationsExperience working with Private Equity–backed clientsProven ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and drive business developmentDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving skillsAble to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative, self-starter mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality client serviceMust be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.Making an Impact TogetherPeople join Eide Bailly for the opportunities and stay because of the culture. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying ranges.
