About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 3+ years in PCU, Med/Surg, Telemetry required License: New Hampshire RN license or Compact Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, Active American Heart Association ACLS Must-Have: Experience in a Medical/Surgical setting with cardiac monitoring required. Residents within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered. Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Description: This position requires proficiency in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit areas. Travelers must be comfortable with each specialty. Rural experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to work independently and hit the ground running. The patient population includes newborn to geriatric. The RN/patient ratio may vary from 5:1 to 3:1 or 4:1, depending on the acuity level. Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified during submission. Requests for time off after submission will not be approved. 5 days or less of requests for time off will be approved for a 13-week assignment. Travelers should provide a skills checklist for Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit, current within 1 year. One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment is required. Basic dysrhythmia testing is required. Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
