HVAC Truck Based Chiller Mechanic (union)

Responsibilities Provide customers with the highest level of service to solve facility inefficiencies and resolve service‑related items. Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing solutions and outcomes at commissioning and aftermarket service. Recommend and provide solutions to ensure facilities run efficiently, including upselling opportunities. Prepare and provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions. Required Qualifications Member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the U.S. and Canada, AFL‑CIO. Minimum of three (3) years of practical experience with residential and/or ducted products, air‑cooled and/or water‑cooled chillers, AHUs or rooftop ducted units, with strong HVAC/mechanical troubleshooting. Ability to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, and screw chiller system components. Willingness to travel 10%–20% for startup, commissioning, and aftermarket service support. Pass required knowledge examination to assess proficiencies. Enrolled in training programs and the Service Technical Academy (STA) for product knowledge and sales quoting. Excellent interpersonal, digital, and written communication skills; ability to explain problems, causes, and corrective actions to customers. Self‑starter with a passion for learning and applying on‑the‑job skills. Prioritize safety in all forms, hold Universal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state/local license, and a valid driver’s license.
