Trial Associate

Overview The role involves litigation on a mixture of commercial, employment, trademark, and other intellectual property matters. Associates will gain experience in all phases of litigation, from pleadings through discovery, dispositive motion practice, trial, and appeal, handling cases in federal, state court, and arbitration. Specific tasks include research, brief writing, discovery, oral advocacy, depositions, trial practice, and appeals in complex litigation matters, with an emphasis on hands-on work. New Jersey bar admission is not required but considered a plus. Dorsey & Whitney LLP advises companies across a diverse range of industries, with a focus on Banking & Financial Institutions, Development & Infrastructure, Energy & Natural Resources, Food, Beverage & Agribusiness, Healthcare & Life Sciences, and Technology.
