Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:


Provide specialized emergency nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients. The nurse will work independently with minimal assistance, delivering prompt and effective treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions upon arrival and prioritize care based on urgency.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment procedures and post-discharge care.
• Comply with hospital protocols, safety standards, and documentation requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with current state certification.
• Possess at least two years of recent emergency room nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic electronic charting system.
• Be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Have experience with fast-paced clinical environments and travel preferred.
• Be available to start immediately and work during upcoming holidays.
