Emergency Room Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency services environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure.

Job Details

• Unit: Emergency Services
• Shift: Evenings
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Experience Required: 2 years
• Certifications Required:
  • ACLS
  • BLS Certification
  • NIHSS - AHA Only
  • PALS
  • TNCC

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and triage incoming patients based on severity of conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and response to treatments, adjusting care as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-treatment care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an emergency room or critical care setting.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
