Company Overview: D&M Coffee is a well-established, family-owned coffee company located in Southeast Michigan. Gourmet Coffee Services is a division of D&M Coffee. As a coffee roaster and service provider, we take pride in our quality products and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team of professionals who travel throughout Southeast Michigan, repairing and installing coffee equipment for various establishments such as restaurants, coffee shops, and cafes.

Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified individual for the role of Service Technician. While prior experience as a coffee-specific service technician is preferred, we also welcome candidates with a basic understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, and machinery repairs who are eager to learn and grow in this field. This is a full-time position with opportunities for advancement and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Preferred trade background or relevant experience in coffee equipment maintenance and repair

• Strong mechanical abilities and troubleshooting skills

• General knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems is advantageous

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

• No physical lifting restrictions

• Must be proactive in troubleshooting and possess a problem-solving mindset

• Excellent customer service and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts (7:30 am to 3:30 pm) with occasional rotational weekend work and overtime

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, installation, support, and servicing of coffee equipment

• Collaborate with the field technical support team to provide exceptional customer service

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, providing efficient and effective solutions

• Ensure timely completion of service requests and maintain accurate records of work performed

• Continuously update knowledge of industry trends and equipment advancements
