Senior Paralegal - Legacy Manager

Responsibilities Help manage docket of litigation files, including gathering and inputting detailed case information, by utilizing internal electronic systems; Coordinate payments to law firms, vendors and others through various electronic systems; Assist with internal and external document searches in support of litigation needs including but not limited to discovery requests; Organize documents for litigation files; Draft and issue litigation hold notices; Edit and organize reports to senior management concerning specified litigation matters; Provide oversight of outside counsel paralegals in respect of assigned tasks; Coordinate meetings; Assist with insurance inquiries. Requirements College degree and/or paralegal certificate is preferred; 3+ year(s) of experience as a paralegal, case manager or legal secretary is preferred; Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (with a focus on Excel) and have the ability to learn other computer applications; Must possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); Must be collaborative, highly organized, able to multi-task, deadline oriented and able to interact with senior leaders in the organization; and Must be willing to be mentored and trained to meet the needs of the organization. Location New York, NY Salary The base salary range for this position is $76,000-$96,000, and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
