We are looking for a responsible, caring, and experienced dog caregiver to stay in our home and care for our dog Rylee while we travel over the 4th of July weekend. Rylee is a 14-year-old Border Collie/Terrier mix who recently underwent major abdominal surgery (splenectomy to remove her spleen) after a bleeding mass was discovered. She is recovering well, but this is a critical recovery period where she needs someone attentive, patient, and comfortable caring for a senior dog after surgery. Rylee is not expected to be high maintenance in terms of activity. The key need is medication timing, monitoring, and companionship.
