The Material Coordinator must utilize optimizer software to make a material blend and is responsible for raw material sampling and inventory. When needed, the Material Coordinator will assist in the loading and unloading of materials. This position requires the flexibility to work 40 hours or more per week and weekends as required. The Material Coordinator reports directly to the Material Manager.M-F; 7am-3:30pmThe responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Practice proper PPE compliance and maintain a safe working record and environmentAssist with truck loading as neededImmediately communicate unsafe conditions, acts or injuries to Production or Yard SupervisorTransfer raw materials to the warehouse or material silosAssist with Preventive Maintenance program as requiredPractice proper forklift operation and preventive maintenancePractice proper truck operation and preventive maintenanceEnsure proper stacking of raw materialsMaintain and build job skills through company training programsResponsible for adherence to all raw material SOPsUtilize optimizer software to make a material blendPerform regular inventory counts and reconciliationsConduct visual product quality inspectionsUnderstand and practice ADS CORE VALUES*Job will require other responsibilities as assignedJob Skills:This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:Self-motivationForklift & OTR vehicle driving skillsDependabilityHigh Organizational SkillsWritten and verbal skillsDetail-orientedTeam orientedBasic Mathematical skillsEnergeticCDL Class A License (if applicable)Educational Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalentPhysical Requirements:The employee will lift and move heavy items, which will require the ability to repeatedly lift 75 pounds to a height of 6 feetThe employee will be working specified shifts and moving around at all times, which will require the ability to stand and be mobile for a minimum of 8 continuous hoursFacilities can be extremely hot or cold at times, so the employee must have the ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time in temperature extremesThe employee will be handling materials daily, which requires the ability to use hands, arms and legs to physically handle and transport finished goodsThe Position requires full range of body motion on a daily basis including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting and ability to mount/dismount industrial equipment and vehiclesHourly Pay: $20.00-$33.60 Individual pay may vary and is determined by work location, shift, and factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
