Neuropsychologist

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University is seeking a clinical neuropsychologist to fill a full-time faculty position as fixed-term or tenure-track at title/rank of Clinical Assistant Professor/Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor/Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor/Professor.

Responsibilities of the neuropsychologist will include:

• Clinical practice as a neuropsychologist (e.g. conducting neuropsychological testing and writing reports, therapy for cognitive concerns), including selection of appropriate testing assessments for a variety of adult neuropsychological concerns.
• Teaching/training of residents or other learners.
• Service activities in the department, as assigned/chosen.

Minimum Education/Experience:

• Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA approved program, or foreign equivalent.
• Successful completion of an APA-approved internship in Psychology.
• Post-doctoral training in neuropsychology.
• Evidence of Certification by the National Register of Health Service Psychologists OR that you are eligible for appropriate certification as specified in the ECU Physicians Credentialing Plan. If you are not yet certified, certification will be expected in accordance with ECU Physicians Credentialing Plan.

License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation:

Eligible for license to practice as a clinical psychologist or clinical neuropsychologist in the State of North Carolina by the North Carolina Psychology Board.

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:

• Experience working in academic healthcare settings and/or experience working in a medical school department of psychiatry.
• Experience working collaboratively with other mental health professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with billing practices in neuropsychology.
• Experience working with children or adolescents
