Overview
Registered Nurse – NICU (Level II) in Westwood, New Jersey. Travel assignment beginning 10/06/2026 for weeks, nights on a 3x12-hour schedule. Weekly pay range: $1,632–$1,757 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Setting: hospital-level care unit serving neonates.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neonates in a Level II NICU, including monitoring, vital signs, and recognition of clinical changes
- Manage ventilation support and respiratory therapies (CPAP, HFNC) and assist with ventilated patients as needed
- Establish and maintain vascular access (IVs, umbilical lines) and administer medications per protocol
- Perform sepsis workups, blood draws, and appropriate antibiotic or medication administration
- Support phototherapy, thermoregulation, feeding (gavage, bottle, breastfeeding), and developmental care
- Document care and progress in the Epic charting system; collaborate with the NICU team and participate in rounds; assist with discharge planning as indicated
- May float to Baby Nurse coverage as needed to maintain unit operations

Requirements
- Current RN license for New Jersey or a valid compact license with NJ practice privileges (state or compact license must be in hand at submittal)
- Minimum 2 years neonatal/NICU experience preferred; travel experience required
- BLS and NRP (or NRP Advanced) certifications; STABLE listed in posting
- Ability to work nights in a 3x12-hour schedule; comfortable with Level II NICU responsibilities
- Experience with neonatal resuscitation/NRP, ventilator support, and umbilical line management; strong phototherapy and feeding support skills
- Epic charting experience required; ability to follow unit protocols and participate in interdisciplinary care
