About This Role The Virtual Registered Nurse (VRN) at Mass General Brigham Home Hospital is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care using advanced technology and remote patient monitoring. Highlights Pay: $40.09 - $78.04/Hourly Location: Somerville, MA Facility: Mass General Brigham Home Care, Inc. Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift (7:00am-7:30pm) What You’ll Do Perform and document nursing process, assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients receiving care remotely. Conduct virtual care, patient assessment, and remote patient monitoring. Provide protocol-driven assessments and care coordination. Exhibit sound clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills. Maintain compliance with nursing guidelines and regulations. Perform admissions, discharges, and episodic visits through virtual care. Triage patient care calls outside of regular business hours. Serve as a role model for professional nursing practice. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex patient care problems. Complete timely documentation for all nursing care in Epic. Requirements Education Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. Experience At least 3 years of Emergency Department experience required. Telemetry experience preferred. Telehealth and remote patient monitoring experience preferred. Telephone triage experience preferred. Licenses & Certifications Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
