LHH is working with a growing company that is adding a temporary Payroll/HR Coordinator to their team. The ideal candidate will have a few years of either payroll processing or HR support. You will be handling onboarding and offboarding, maintaining employee files, and responding to employee inquiries. This position can either be hybrid or remote depending on the needs of the team and the training schedule. However, you need to be located on the west coast and be able to support a team on normal PST business hours. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain employee payroll and HR records, including new hires, terminations, pay changes, and status updates.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including required documentation and system updates.
• Support benefits administration, enrollment changes, and employee inquiries.
• Track PTO, sick leave, and other employee time-off balances.
• Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, policies, and HR-related matters.
• Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, audits, and year-end processes.
• Maintain confidential employee information and ensure accurate personnel files.
• Support compliance with applicable payroll, wage and hour, and employment requirements.
• Provide administrative support for HR initiatives, reporting, and special projects.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of payroll, HR, or related administrative experience preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll practices, employee deductions, benefits, and HR processes.
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems such as ADP, UKG, Paylocity, Paycom, or similar platforms preferred.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information professionally.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet payroll deadlines.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
