Job Title: Radiology RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years of Registered IR Nursing experience License: New York RN license Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: - Telemetry experience required - 2 years of Registered IR Nursing experience - BLS and ACLS certifications Description: This is a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department. We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan. Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team. They are responsible for the pre-procedural preparation of patients. Post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care is also required. Experience with GI post-procedural care is preferred but not required. This is an exciting opportunity for nurses who want to work in a high-energy environment. We specialize in providing care for patients undergoing various imaging procedures. Good communication skills are essential. Critical thinking ability is necessary. If you are team-oriented, enthusiastic, flexible, and organized, we welcome you to apply. Medical/Surgical and telemetry experience is preferred. Nurses will be responsible for pre/post and 23-hour care for interventional radiology patients. This includes care for patients boarding overnight pre or post-procedure.
