Chemical Engineer

Overview Support the modernization of the Navy’s arsenal by leading design, development, and commissioning of chemical process plants and managing major capital projects. You will mentor team members and drive projects to on‑time, on‑budget completion while leading a cross‑functional engineering team. Qualifications 10+ years of experience as a chemical engineer in the design, construction, and startup of new chemical processes Experience with energetic systems Experience with safety processes and procedures such as process hazard analysis Knowledge of process plant development, construction, and commissioning in a polymer, manufacturing, or chemical synthesis plant environment Ability to work as a member of a cross‑functional engineering team Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering Nice If You Have Experience with chemical process plant design Experience with facility design Experience with U.S. government construction standards Knowledge of manufacturing plant design Clearance Secret clearance is required.
